Thank you to everyone who helped make last week so special. From welcoming our community for the Alberta By-Elections and connecting at our School Council Meeting, to enjoying the Scholastic Book Fair and coming together for our Welcome Back BBQ and Meet the Teacher, it was a busy and memorable week.
A special thank you to our families, volunteers, School Council, Friends of Somerset School and staff who helped make these opportunities possible. It was wonderful to see our school community come together and celebrate the belonging and connection that make Somerset such a special place.
Looking ahead, Individual Photo Day is Tuesday, September 22. If you are available to volunteer, please contact the main office.
On Thursday, September 24, students will participate in our Terry Fox Assembly & Run, celebrating Terry’s legacy of courage, compassion and perseverance. Students are invited to bring a Toonie for Terry to support cancer research and help continue Terry’s dream of making a difference.
