With Report Cards being available in one week, starting Monday, January 27 until May 30, 2025, this week’s message will be a bit different. We’ll be focusing entirely on the new CBE Report Card template and providing you with all the information you need to easily access your child’s report card.

New CBE Report Card Template for Parents/Guardians

In order to provide clear and specific feedback, teachers are now using a new report card template which focuses on a student's progress and areas of growth. The comments are structured to highlight key aspects of a student's learning and provide actionable next steps to support their development.

The Report Card Template Structure

This section identifies where a student can improve or further develop their skills. Teachers provide a clear next step for the student, which will help deepen their understanding. The format for this section is:

Example

The new report card template provides a clear, structured way to communicate how students are performing in specific areas of learning. By using this format, parents and guardians will better understand their child's strengths and where they may need additional support. The inclusion of actionable steps also ensures that the feedback is practical and focused on helping each student continue to grow and succeed.
