Good morning/evening, Parents and Guardians Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! We are thrilled to have our students return on Thursday, August 29, and cannot wait to embark on another exciting year of learning and growth together. Here are a few important reminders as we prepare for the start of the school year:
The main office will be open from Monday, August 26, to Wednesday, August 28, between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm. Regular office hours will resume on Thursday, August 29th.
Please note that August 26-28 are non-instructional days, meaning the school is closed, and there are no classes for students. Teachers will be in meetings from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm each day.
The first day of classes for all Somerset School students is Thursday, August 29th. Teachers will be meeting students at designated spaces outside their entry/ exit doors at 8:15am and will enter the school at 8:25 am. In the spirit of welcoming your child(ren) to Somerset School, homeroom teachers will be making brief phone calls to parents/guardians on the afternoon of Tuesday, August 27th. If you miss the call, do not worry — teachers will leave a message and follow up with an email. This call is simply to introduce your child's homeroom teacher and inform you where your child will meet their teacher on Thursday.
