Rain Barrel Fundraiser
Without your support, we risk losing the chance to continue to give our students what they truly deserve: a safe, engaging, and accessible play space which fosters creativity, community, and growth.
That’s why we’re excited to share our “Help Us Grow & Play” Rain Barrel Fundraiser. This initiative not only helps you conserve water at home, it helps ensure our school doesn’t miss out on funding the playground our children need.
Every barrel purchased brings us closer to our goal. But without strong community participation, this chance may pass us by, and our students may continue to play on equipment that no longer meets the needs of our school and community.
- Add your rain barrel(s) and accessories to your cart
- View your cart when ready
- Proceed to checkout

Help! We Don’t Want to Miss a Moment of Spirit Day but We Need Your help.
Volunteers & Bakers Needed for June 5
Spirit Day is just around the corner, June 5, and it promises to be a joyful, memory-making day for our students. But here's the truth: without enough volunteers and baked goods, we may have to scale back some of the fun.
We know how much our kids look forward to this event, and we want every station, every smile, and every sweet treat to go ahead as planned. But we can’t do it without your help.
Volunteers - Make the Magic Happen
Whether you're able to lead a game, support behind the scenes, or just lend a hand for an hour or two, your presence matters.
- Simple instructions will be provided
- Enjoy a free lunch on us (hot dog, chips, drink)
Even one hour of your time could be the reason a station stays open, or a child’s favourite activity goes ahead.
Bakers - Bring the Sweetness
Spirit Day just isn’t the same without the community’s homemade kindness. We need your baking talents to help ensure every student feels the joy of the day.
If you can contribute a dozen nut-free, individually packaged treats, please sign up.
Please ensure:
- No nuts in any items
- Items are clearly labeled with ingredients
- Free-from options (gluten, dairy, egg) are much appreciated
Drop off at the main office on or before June 5
Let’s not miss this chance to come together, celebrate our community, and give our students the full Spirit Day experience they’ve been looking forward to.
See you Monday!

Somerset School Principal
